Pulse Jet
Filter Bag

These filter bags are utilized in pulse jet bag-house or pulse jet dust collectors, which are self-cleaning dry filtration systems. The cleaning process involves bursts of compressed air that remove dust and particulate matter from the internal filter media. Pulse-jet filter bags are compact and can be tailored to fit any size and shape. They must be supported and can be used in combination with filter cages and ventures.

Various Types of Filter Media for Pulse Jet Filter Bags

Fiberglass Filter Media

This high-temperature filter media is made from e-Glass using a woven technique with various finishes & GSM of Fabric such as deep bath acid resistance.

Various finishes such as PTFE coated, Acid Resistance, SGT deep bath chemical finish and PTFE membrane laminated finish on the outer dust collection side. Fiberglass filter media can withstand continuous temperatures of up to 260°C and short surges of up to 280-290°C. It is commonly used in raw mill kiln baghouses, boiler applications and for other industries' high-temperature baghouse applications.

PPS Filter Media

Made from the Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) chemical Group, this fabric Trade Name is "Ryton" & is mainly used in power plants and for boiler application Bag House such as in chemical, paper and other industries.

It can withstand continuous temperatures of up to 170-180°C and short surges of up to 190°C. However, PPS fabric has a tendency for hydrolysis at higher O2 levels, particularly in small boiler application bag houses.

Mix Felt Filter Media

This filter media is typically a combination of 50% virgin polyester and 50% Homopolymer fiber in a non-woven fabric.

It is commonly used in cement and steel plants for various applications. Nowadays, mix felt non-woven fabric can be customized to meet specific customer needs and applications.

Polyester Filter Media

This is the most commonly used filter media for dry filtration in various applications.

It is made from Polyethylene terephthalate chemical composition in both woven and non-woven fabric methods. Polyester fiber is ideal for Dry Heat Conditions in numerous Nuisance/auxiliary bag houses. It possesses the ability to endure long-term exposure to temperatures of up to 140°C in dry heat and can withstand brief surges of up to 150°C for a few minutes. The 100% virgin polyester fiber is milky white in color, unlike the recycled polyester fiber which appears dull white. Nevertheless, when exposed to moist heat, polyester fabric is caused by the hydrolysis effect.

Nomex Filter Media

Known by the trade name "Nomex," this fiber falls under the Meta-Aramid chemical group.

It is widely recognized as a high-temperature fiber frequently used in various applications. used in clinker applications in cement plants, Ferro units, and certain boiler bag house applications. It can withstand continuous temperatures of up to 190-200°C and short surges of up to 210°C in dry heat.

Homopolymer Acrylic Filter Media

This particular synthetic fiber, derived from the Chemical Group PAN and alternatively referred to as Polyacrylic Nitrite (PAN)

It possesses impressive resistance against hydrolysis; when exposed to moist heat. It can endure continuous temperatures ranging from 120-130°C and handle brief surges of 135-140°C in various heat-related applications. This fiber finds widespread usage in the Cement mill Bag house process, as well as in numerous other applications that involve moist heat within the mentioned temperature ranges.
